Your privacy is important to us## Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist- CST level 1* WFP is a 2020 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.* WFP offers a highly inclusive, diverse, and multicultural working environment.* WFP invests in the personal & professional development of its employees through a range of training, accreditation, coaching, mentorship, and other programs as well as through internal mobility opportunities.* A career path in WFP provides an exciting opportunity to work across the various country, regional and global offices around the world, and with passionate colleagues who work tirelessly to ensure that effective humanitarian assistance reaches millions of people across the globe.* We offer an attractive compensation package (please refer to the **Terms and Conditions** section of this vacancy announcement).* Implement the established knowledge management strategy, adapting it where necessary;* Brief country teams on the knowledge management strategy and support teams to implement their knowledge management plans and activities;* Revamp a knowledge management platform for the programme and orient country teams on use of the platform;* Develop and disseminate knowledge products within the JP RWEE at the global level;* Oversee the development and dissemination -of knowledge products at global and country level;* Provide guidance to the country teams on how to identify, package, disseminate, apply, and adapt knowledge within the JP RWEE.* Work to create a culture of learning within the programme.* Adapt communications strategy for the second half of the JP RWEE Phase II in line with the resource mobilization strategy;* Develop annual communications plans for global level* Provide technical support to country teams to develop country level communications plans.* Develop communication annual reports for consolidated annual reports.* Support in the review of the communication and knowledge management annexes of the annual workplans.* Develop high quality communications products, including newsletters, briefs, factsheets, stories etc. for use in multiple channels targeting diverse audiences (practitioners, policy makers, academics, donors, private sector etc.), in order to advocate for rural women’s economic empowerment; increase the visibility of the JP RWEE, and support the resource mobilization efforts;* Develop infographics, visuals and layouts for use in JP RWEE briefs, factsheets, presentations, reports and other products, to provide concise and accessible information on programme impact;* Create a repository of JP RWEE branding guidelines, visual assets and templates to facilitate a homogenize visual identity of the programme across country offices;* Identify communication and outreach needs of the JP RWEE activities and identify targeted audience groups, events, platforms and other opportunities for JP RWEE participation, to maximize the visibility of JP RWEE activities and its contribution to the field of rural women’s economic empowerment;* Generate donor specific visibility content for use across a range of platforms, to contribute to JP RWEE Phase III resource mobilisation efforts;* Develop and maintain a contact database for JP RWEE communication and information dissemination;* Maintain an internal photo library to support the publication of communication material and knowledge management products.* Attend and support meetings as requested by the Global Coordinator;* Perform other duties as required, including contributions to reports, digitalization of programme templates and training to the country team in the use of the digitalized forms.* Demonstrates humility and a willingness to learn and share knowledge, frequently seeking and acting on feedback, and pursuing opportunities to develop.* Identifies and aligns objectives to the required outcomes, holding self-and/or others accountable for the delivery of results for maximum impact.* Demonstrates curiosity, designs and implements new ways of doing things when relevant.* Promotes inclusive teamwork by encouraging colleagues to collaborate by sharing ideas and openly raising issues.* Seeks out, trusts and listens attentively to diverse views to capture, learn, build and share new perspectives.* All applications must be submitted exclusively through our online recruiting system.
