The research aims to pursue the following objectives:

• Map key areas of intervention to improve sustainability in logistics, with a particular focus on warehouse evolution and automated processes;
• Analyze the sustainability impact dimensions in logistics, assessing applicable environmental, economic, and social metrics within warehouse contexts;
• Explore the role of technology in supporting sustainability, considering applications of IoT, collaborative robotics, data analytics, and digital twin systems for optimizing logistics operations;
• Study process transformation from a human‑centric perspective, focusing on safety, ergonomics, work quality, and staff inclusion within automated warehouses;
• Investigate the potential of Artificial Intelligence to enhance sustainability in logistics;
• Assess the value of environmental sustainability in logistic real estate.

Oral test aimed at ascertaining candidates’ aptitude and suitability to carry out the research activity covered by the Fellowship, as well as at assessing their knowledge of English and/or other languages relevant to the research activities to be performed (up to 70 points).

Relevance and pertinence of the publications, theses and scientific products attached to the research programme covered by the Fellowship (up to 10 points).

Relevance and pertinence of previous research activities and work experience, if any, in relation to the research activity covered by the Fellowship (up to 15 points).

Relevance and pertinence of their study programme to the research programme covered by the Fellowship (up to 5 points).
