THE MISSION :

We’re looking for a driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to build lasting relationships with our retail partners in Italy. You’ll manage a portfolio of merchants, identify new growth opportunities, and use data-driven insights to maximize their success.

What You’ll Do :

  • Strengthen partnerships through sales calls, business reviews, and ongoing support;
  • Advise merchants on optimizing revenue and marketing using Scalapay's premium products (e.g., Affiliation, Media Packages);
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to support the growth of our brands. Yes, this means some hunting with them;
  • Boost Scalapay adoption by growing merchant collaborations and co-marketing campaigns;
  • Analyze data to uncover opportunities and create tailored sales presentations;
  • Develop case studies and share best practices to scale account management efforts;
  • Experiment with new strategies to drive revenue growth and provide weekly forecasts;
  • Advocate for your merchants internally to enhance products and services;
  • Attend market visits, fairs, and events to meet partners face-to-face and stay ahead of industry trends.

Who you are :

  • Proven sales and negotiation expertise with a knack for growing partnerships;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to upsell / cross-sell;
  • Experience following structured sales processes with KPIs and measurable results;
  • Data-driven, proactive, and organized approach;
  • 5+ years in account management or business consulting, ideally in e-commerce;
  • Fluent in Italian and English; willing to travel up to 30%.
