Key Account Manager (Italian market)

Location & Work Setup: Remote work from any location within Italy
Engagement Model: Freelance (Partita IVA / B2B) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and grow long‑term relationships with key enterprise and mid‑market clients in Italy
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, with a strong focus on the FMCG industry, particularly Food & Beverage companies
- Own the full sales process: from prospecting and first contact through discovery, pitching, product demos, proposal development, negotiation, and closing — with support from senior BD team members when needed
- Coordinatewith technical and delivery teams to ensure successfulproject implementation
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, trade fairs, and conferences, both locally and internationally, to generate qualified leads
- Monitor market trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor activities
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales of IT solutions for FMCG (e.g., SaaS, CRM, custom platforms)
- Experience or strong familiarity with the FMCG/CPG sector is mandatory
- Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and key account relationships
- Passion for technology and innovation as drivers of business value
- Fluent Italian and English
- Willingness to travel as needed (Occasional travel to client sites or industry events)
- Understanding of IT product fundamentals (e.g., cloud‑based platforms, APIs, digital transformation, integration models)
- Strong commercial instincts and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both clients and internal teams
