About the Role
Reporting directly to the Global Sales Director, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for the development and expansion of strategic customer portfolios, the acquisition of new business, and the achievement of sustainable and profitable growth across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute commercial strategies aligned with profitability objectives
- Drive RFQ processes, pricing strategies and contract negotiations
- Strengthen long-term customer partnerships at purchasing and engineering level
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Analyze product profitability and propose corrective commercial actions
- Act as the primary technical-commercial interface between customers and internal functions
- Monitor KPIs, sales budgets and performance indicators

Candidate profile
- Technical background with an Engineering Degree
- 10+ years of commercial experience in the automotive industry with a deep understanding of the automotive supply chain
- Solid understanding of the automotive supply chain and OEM/Tier-1 dynamics
- Experience operating in international and matrix organizations
- Strong analytical, negotiation and leadership capabilities
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), Italian and German are considered an advantage
- Exceptional drive to meet and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting and closing
