Your Role:

As a Junior Technical Application Specialist , you will be part of our Food R&D team, focusing on the practical and operational aspects of product development. You will be responsible for reparing application samples in our kitchen/lab and supporting the technical team in validating new solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Sample Preparation : Creating prototypes and application samples in the kitchen/lab based on R&D guidelines
  • Technical Support : Assisting the team in testing new ingredients and blends, and collecting feedback on performance and functionality
  • Material Handling : Organizing and tracking raw materials and samples within the lab
  • Documentation : Supporting the preparation of technical sheets, test reports, and internal documentation
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Working with the technical, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment between development and communication

You will work in close collaboration with the Raw Material Specialist, who is responsible for the chemical and physical characterization of materials.


Who You Are:

We’re looking for a hands-on, curious, and collaborative individual with a passion for food and innovation. This role is ideal for someone with a culinary background and technical training in food science.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Education in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or Gastronomic Sciences. Preferably BSc/MSc in Food Technology
  • At least 2 years of experience in application labs, development kitchens, or R&D environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Basic English proficiency (B1–B2 level)
  • Residence within one hour of Milan or willingness to relocate
