Junior Sales & Procurement Specialist

Overview:

An international company operating in the renewable energy sector is hiring a Sales & Procurement Specialist to support commercial, operational, and supplier coordination activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to early-career professional with up to 3 years of experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced and structured business environment.

The role is based in Milan, with the expectation of working primarily from the office in the Loreto area. While there may be some flexibility depending on business needs, this is not a remote-first role.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Receive requests from internal operations and project teams and prepare client offers based on technical and commercial requirements

·      Support the preparation and follow-up of quotations linked to service, maintenance, and project activities

·      Communicate with clients regarding approvals for completed activities and invoicing processes

·      Prepare monthly activity reports for clients and internal performance reports for management

·      Maintain and update the approved supplier and subcontractor database

·      Coordinate tender administration with selected suppliers and subcontractors

·      Identify, research, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply chain

·      Support price negotiations and purchasing efficiency initiatives

·      Liaise regularly with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution of activities

Candidate Profile:

·      Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Engineering or a related technical field

·      Up to 3 years of professional experience in procurement, sales support, commercial operations, project coordination, or a similar role

·      Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other core computer tools

·      Highly structured, detail-oriented, and rigorous in the execution of work

·      Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and report numerical data

·      Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Professional level of English, both written and spoken

·      Comfortable working closely with different stakeholders across teams

·      Willingness to provide additional support during busy periods when required
