Who we are looking for:

As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will support the commercial growth of Caracol by combining a solid technical background with the ability to translate customer needs into tailored service solutions. Operating in close alignment with the senior sales team, you will be involved in managing client relationships, preparing technical-commercial offers, and driving the adoption of our advanced manufacturing services. A great fit for someone who blends technical expertise with the ability to understand others’ needs, engage clients, while showing curiosity, proactivity, and the willingness to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

Few examples of responsibilities:

  • Support the acquisition of new customers, identifying opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Provide basic technical guidance to clients, leveraging knowledge of AM and complementary manufacturing processes like CNC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (application engineering, production, service) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to market analysis and benchmarking.
  • Participate in fairs, events, and business development initiatives to promote Caracol’s offering.

Ideal Background:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering/Technical field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the 3D printing industry, ideally within a service bureau environment.
  • Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing technologies; additional familiarity with complementary and traditional processes (CNC, injection molding, composite lamination) is a plus.
  • Technical background combined with the ability to understand client needs and effectively support the sale of advanced services
  • Basic Knowledge of CAD programs and viewers.
