Junior Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Role Overview
Chematek is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance activities for chemical substances and mixtures, ensuring conformity with European and UK chemical regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Exposure Scenarios (ES).
- Review supplier SDS and verify regulatory compliance.
- Manage REACH and UK REACH compliance activities.
- Prepare and submit C&L Notifications, PCN notifications, and manage UFI codes.
- Verify classification and labeling of substances and mixtures according to CLP.
- Support product registration activities and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain regulatory databases and compliance documentation.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on products and business activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs and SDS management.
- Good knowledge of:
- REACH and UK REACH
- CLP Regulation
- Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Exposure Scenarios (ES)
- UFI and PCN requirements
- C&L Notifications
- Chemical classification and labeling
- Product registration processes
- Fluent Italian and good English.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
