JUNIOR PROPERTY UNDERWRITER

Experteer Overview

In this role you will shape and execute the strategy for Property & Multinational risks in Italy, aligning with the Group and supporting Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be the primary contact for agents/brokers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the underwriting lifecycle, pricing, and product strategy. You will drive local portfolio performance and ensure governance and compliance across underwriting guidelines. This is an opportunity to influence product development, expand new business, and reinforce Allianz’s market position in Italy.

• Ensure underwriting teams comply with authority, pricing and rating guidelines
• Steer local portfolio to meet financial targets in collaboration with Head of Property
• Liaise with cross-functional areas to review end-to-end underwriting performance
• Collaborate with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to support marketing strategies including cross-selling
• Maintain underwriting consistency and governance per corporate guidelines and local regulatory framework
• Support development and implementation of new or modified products
• Support acquisition and retention of business, including agent/broker negotiations
• Communicate local business strategy externally

Responsabilità

• Master's degree in Engineering or Economics or Law
• 3 to 5 years' experience in underwriting profitable Property business for Corporate Clients (PD/BI and Theft)
• Preferred Multinational client experience and knowledge in Liability
• Proven leadership skills
• Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration lifecycle
• Strong pricing knowledge and market analysis
• Experience in designing/implementing wordings and underwriting projects (ideal)
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in an international organization
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Data analytics
• Office 365 and collaborative tools knowledge
