Junior Project Engineer / Architect

Bizzi & Partners Development S.r.l. is the asset and development management division of Bizzi & Partners S.p.A. , a company with a long-standing presence in the Italian market and active in the investment and management of complex real estate development projects in Italy and abroad, and is looking for a Junior Project Engineer / Architect to join its team in Milan.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Technical Project Manager and will be involved in project engineering and construction management activities across ongoing development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design Review & Coordination:

Review and verify the completeness and consistency of design documentation prepared by external designers; coordinate preliminary, permitting, detailed and executive design phases in alignment with the Technical Department, ensuring technical documentation supports tender and construction contracts.

Contract & Subcontractor Management:

Verify and coordinate subcontractor design activities to ensure compliance with contractual documentation; prepare coordination drawings, construction details and technical documentation necessary for the proper execution of works.

Technical Documentation & Variations:

Coordinate technical documentation required for contract amendments and project variations; manage and collect as-built documentation and certifications necessary for final approvals and occupancy permits.

Site Supervision & Monitoring:

Conduct site inspections to verify construction progress, quality of works and compliance with the approved schedule; participate in coordination meetings concerning design reviews, approvals, executive design and project variations.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Interface with contractors, subcontractors, external consultants, the Works Director (Direzione Lavori) and the Health & Safety Coordinator; support planning activities and contribute to monitoring project timelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar technical role within real estate development or construction companies.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Project.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken).
