The team you will be a part of

The Category Management team develops and implements marketing strategies to identify effective distribution channels. Researches and analyzes the marketplace to identify new channel, partnership and co-branding opportunities. Develops and monitors channel opportunities, licensing agreements, joint ventures and partnerships to maximize revenues. Designs, develops and implements marketing programs with third-party partners.

This role in summary

We are looking for a Junior Product Specialist for the Product Marketing Team, reporting to the Category Lead of Cooling who will operate in the Italian market to support the business and play an important role in launching the company’s key product category range. The person will be responsible for the most important brands in the sector, working together with the rest of the Washing Product Team in collaboration with the Trade, Communication, and Supply Chain teams.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring proper product range/mix being in line with the market needs in terms of price, technical features and design (defining features, building product road map, product strategy)
  • Research from the marketplace to define market needs and plan product development (short- and long-term basis)
  • Providing product requirement input to HQ/Regional product management
  • Analysis of market prices and selling price calculation
  • Supporting sales forecasts to guarantee product availability & new launches rump-up
  • Ensuring that the product meets all legal requirements (user manuals, safety standards/certifications, information on the product)
  • Developing product information tools for sales and training
  • Creating promotional activities for selected product categories
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in Product, Category or Trade Marketing from White Goods or similar sectors.
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Marketing, Economics or related field
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint or any IT/digital tool
  • Preferable experience in product management (head quarter & subsidiary)
