A Snapshot of Your Day As a Buying Professional, you will manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships to ensure the efficient and cost-effective supply of materials and services. You will support sourcing strategies, negotiate with vendors, oversee procurement processes using SAP and digital tools, and collaborate with global teams to improve supplier performance and operational efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop and implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
Implement and manage supplier contractual agreements to meet the specific needs of the business whilst ensuring service continuity and risk mitigation.
Utilize a wide range of negotiation strategy (CAO, E-auction, Global Value Sourcing, Advanced Negotiation Concept, Supplier Day, etc).
Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant purchase-to-pay process, procurement guidelines, IT systems).
Execute supplier management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification). Establish proper sourcing and procurement processes and control all procurement resources and activities in the project.
Use new IT tools in procurement, some of them based on IA.
What You Bring
Graduated in scientific subjects or degree in management with a mindset in IT subjects.
Passionate and prepared to handle issues related to procurement topics.
2 to 3 years of experience within supply chain and handle global vendor; experience from the oil and gas industry is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency; advanced Excel abilities (pivot tables, V-lookup, macros, charting/graphing).
Available for business trips (national and sometimes international).
Strong orientation to reach targets, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team.
Rewards and Benefits The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between €30,000 – €40,000 gross per year. Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market. Where a role may be performed in multiple locations in Italy or abroad, compensation will vary depending on factors such as market conditions, including the local cost of living, as well as experience and qualifications. In such cases, the specific salary range for the location of interest will be communicated in the early stages of the recruitment process and, in any case, before any potential offer of employment is made.
