Who are we looking for? A resource to be placed as Junior Pricing Analyst with an apprenticeship contract in our office in Milan (Via Chiese 72) as part of the Global Business Unit “Supply&Energy Management (S&EM) ”. The Business Line “Supply” is focused on commodity sales to end customers.
What will you do?
You will report to the Energy Pricing Supervisor and you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies that ensure profitability, market competitiveness, and alignment with business objectives . You will analyze costs and margins, maintain pricing tools and models, and collaborate across teams to deliver accurate and timely pricing solutions in a dynamic energy market.
What will you be in charge of?
- Supporting the preparation of commercial offers for retail and small business customers;
- Performing cost and margin analysis to ensure the profitability of commercial proposals;
- Collaborating with the team to manage price lists and economic conditions;
- Monitoring market trends and energy commodity prices;
- Using and maintaining calculation tools and models for price simulations and scenario analysis;
- Updating and maintaining databases and reporting tools to track performance.
What will you bring to ENGIE?
- A university degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields
- Familiarity with data analytics and data visualization tools such as Dataiku, Databricks, or Collibra
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) for analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in programming languages for data science, particularly Python or R, would be an advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English, ideally at C1 level
