Junior Portfolio Management Analyst (VIE)
Mission:
You will join our Markets & Investment Solutions (MIS) Team, a department that centralizes all portfolio management and investment advisory services offered to our Clients.
Under the supervision of the local Head of MIS, you will work in direct support of our Portfolio Managers in their daily activities, thereby gaining exposure to the full scope of the department’s operations.
In particular, you will have the possibility to:
- carry out various data analysis activities for the DPM client base, ensuring compliance with federal investment guidelines and client-imposed constraints and objectives
- automate and improve existing and new processes through the use of VBA to ensure continuous efficiency in daily activities
- work on the implementation of dashboards providing the managers with continuously updated financial data
- create PowerPoint presentations, reports, performance files, etc. intended for commercial purposes or for client meetings and committees
- participate in portfolio analysis, in the analysis of asset allocation proposals, and in portfolio construction
- interact with other external stakeholders of the department, including relationship managers, to ensure timely execution of client requests
- verify executed orders
You will be part of a stimulating and rapidly evolving international environment, which requires strong multitasking abilities, the capacity to interact with various key stakeholders within the organization, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. This experience will enable you to deepen your knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio construction for clients in the High or Ultra High Net Worth Individuals segment, with a focus on both traditional and innovative investment instruments.
Requirements:
- master's degree in Finance, Economics or Management Engineering with a specialization in financial markets
- solid knowledge of financial instruments, portfolio management principles, and investment products (both traditional and innovative)
- good knowledge of the financial markets and/or the fund industry (Asset allocation/Portfolio management, Financial Products/Securities)
- a previous internship or work experience in asset management, risk management, financial advisory or in investment banking is considered a plus but not mandatory
- you have ideally been trained on Bloomberg during a previous experience
- you have an excellent command of IT tools and the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Power Point, Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), which will be essential for the successful completion of this mission
- you have a strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- you have excellent analytical, synthesis and writing skills, attention to detail and accuracy in the preparation of reports and presentations
- you have a proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within the portfolio management and investment advisory field
- italian: good/basic knowledge
- english: fluent
- soft skills: confidentiality, initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team, precision, proactive approach, flexibility, good communication and interpersonal skills, accuracy, sense of responsibility
