Location: Sicily (preferred) or Milan | Work mode: Hybrid (office 1x/2 weeks) / Full Remote | Contract: Full-time, Permanent | Salary: 24K-26K + Benefits

We’re looking for a Junior Monitoring & Application Maintenance Engineer (DevOps) eager to grow in DevOps, observability, and application reliability, supported by experienced engineers and structured training.
What You’ll Do
- Manage application maintenance for Spring Boot–based systems
- Monitor system health, performance and availability using observability tools
- Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and cloud‑native operations
What We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in mission‑critical or high‑availability environments
- Working DevOps skills: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring, observability and performance testing
- Hands‑on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Java applications and cloud platforms
Nice to have
- Experience with digital payment platforms
- Design and execute performance and load testing (k6) and test automation
- Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash and a proactive problem‑solving mindset
