instinctools is a software development company that provides custom software solutions for businesses of all sizes. Our team is looking for a Junior+/Middle Golang Developer for one of our clients.

About the Client

The client is a global provider of licensed IPTV services, offering access to over TV channels, thousands of movies, series, and exclusive content. The platform provides a seamless entertainment experience across devices, including smart TVs, mobile apps, and PCs.

Project Details

1. Notification Service : Configures and sends notifications to various devices (SMS, email, iOS, Android, etc.).
2. TV Program Synchronization Service : Synchronizes TV schedules from multiple providers and offers an API for client services.
3. Set-Top Box Update Service : Sends messages to set-top boxes, including firmware updates.

Tech Stack

Golang, PostgreSQL, gRPC, REST API (chi)

Candidate Expectations

• Proficiency in Golang for backend development.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs using gRPC and REST.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with building scalable, high-performance services.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and communication protocols.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines for deploying services.
• English: Upper-Intermediate.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services for notification delivery, TV schedule synchronization, and set-top box updates.
2. Build and document gRPC and REST APIs for seamless integration.
3. Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval using PostgreSQL.
4. Manage data synchronization with multiple providers.
5. Implement and improve notification mechanisms across devices.
