Junior Merchandiser

Luxury brand is looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join our team in Milan who will that the relevant collection portfolio is developed in line with the Brand Strategy/positioning, fulfilling customer and Market requirements and meeting profitability goals while liaising with Design Studio and other Functions within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Elaborate analysis on a daily/weekly/Monthly base on business performance
• Support in the optimization of stock levels across Regions maximizing sales opportunities and improving inventory efficiency
• Develop a clear understanding of competitors’ strategies, brand positioning and pricing.
• Collect and analyze strategic trends and key market information in order to identify and maximize future sales opportunities.
• Support in the definition of the collection brief (prices, function of use, trends).
• Support Markets and Sales teams throughout the buying campaign by preparing and maintaining commercial tools, assortment guidelines, product presentations, and collection documentation to facilitate decision-making and ensure alignment across Regions

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year in Merchandising or similar role (preferably in fashion or luxury industry)
• Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PPT
• Solid analytical skills
• Product sensitivity
• Fluent in Italian and English
