We are looking for a
Junior Manufacturing Engineering Specialist
to join our Manufacturing Engineering Office and support senior engineers in
New Product Introduction (NPI) ,
first industrial prototypes , and
continuous improvement
across the plant.
You can think of this as a hands‑on, entry‑level
industrialization PMO
role: you help coordinate data, dates, and documentation, then work with the shopfloor to make new products real.
What you’ll do
Support NPI and prototype builds end to end, from R&D handover to first serial ramp, keeping the master plan, risks, and actions up to date. Coordinate the R&D‑to‑Operations handover: collect drawings and specs, verify routings, work centers and tooling lists, and ensure product configuration is clear for production. Supervise
Bill of Materials
readiness in ERP (D365). Make sure work orders for prototypes and pilot builds are created, released, and sequenced on time, tracking lead times and raising constraints with Planning, Purchasing, and Production. Prepare build books and standard work for pilots and first‑offs, capture deviations and lessons learned, and feed them back into updates. Track capex and supplier deliverables for equipment, jigs, fixtures and gauges, including FAT/SAT dates and documentation. Keep the register of improvement projects for the area, with KPIs, owners, and due dates. Maintain clean data: routings, cycle times, scrap codes, tooling life, and ECN status. Be present on the shopfloor, working day‑to‑day with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and HSE to troubleshoot and improve.
What you bring
Recent degree in
Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering , or a
technical high school diploma
with a strong hands‑on attitude. You are organized, detail‑driven, and a proactive communicator in
Italian and English . You are willing to spend time on the shopfloor, close to the processes and the people, not only at a desk.
Nice to have
Basics of
Lean ,
5S ,
VSM , and problem solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC). A Yellow Belt is a plus. Familiarity with
FMEA / APQP / PPAP , and exposure to
time study
or
MTM . Basic understanding of
machining, assembly and manufacturing processes . Ability to read
CAD drawings , BoMs and routings. Exposure to
PLM/ERP
systems (SAP, Oracle, Teamcenter, Windchill) and solid
Excel

for simple data analyses.
