Junior IT Project Manager-Stage

HSPI S.p.A., a leading management consulting firm in IT Governance services and part of the TXT Group, is looking to strengthen its team at the Bologna office by hiring a Junior IT Project Manager .

The selected candidate will be involved in innovative IT projects in the Insurance sector, supporting the team in the governance of Enterprise DevOps platforms.

HSPI offers an extracurricular internship aimed at future employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project management activities by assisting the team in planning and coordinating tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and project phases, and applying the main Project Management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, PMI)
• Contribute to the creation and updating of planning tools (WBS, Gantt charts, milestones, and activity plans)
• Support Agile activities, including Scrum ceremonies and backlog management in Jira
• Support the preparation and updating of project documentation and reporting according to PMO standards (Kick-Off, SAL, Status Reports, Risk Log)
• Support communication with clients and project stakeholders
• Contribute to monitoring project progress, with a focus on timelines, objectives, and deliverables
• Assist in supervising the release cycle in DevOps environments (GitLab CI/CD, pipelines, quality gates) within governance processes

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM disciplines (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields).

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Good command of the English language

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of IT technologies and systems (databases, operating systems, networks, software architectures) and software engineering principles
• Interest in the Insurance / Financial Services sector
