Junior It Architect

Role Purpose
The Junior IT Architect contributes to the design of solution architectures and supports application evolution and cloud adoption. The role involves close collaboration with Product Managers and clients to ensure that solutions follow industry best practices and meet business needs.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
Impact on the Business
- Design and maintain robust solution architectures, including creation and maintenance of technical documentation (ADR).
- Identify application impacts during the preliminary estimation phase of each project, design High‑Level Architectures, and prepare integration requirements.
Innovation and Change
- Actively research and evaluate emerging technologies and functionalities to support innovation within the organisation.
- Support delivery processes by reviewing end‑to‑end solution implementation and ensuring alignment with the initial architecture design.
Knowledge and Experience Strong
- Analytical thinking.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and clients to define and design technology solutions.
- Other Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience
- Strong knowledge of technological domains such as IoT Architecture (MQTT, LwM2M), GenAI (Agents, MCP), and Business Support Systems (Odoo).
- Understanding of design principles and patterns, including APIs, streaming, and queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Previous experience in IT solution design and delivery (Java, Python).
- Desired experience working in distributed big‑data environments.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of customer portal and mobile app solutions.
Must‑Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT and engineering roles.
- Degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in an international team.
- Strong communication and relational skills, both technical and business‑oriented.
