Junior Hse Advisor

The Company:

OXBO are supporting a rapidly expanding renewable energy developer focused on utility scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects across Italy.

With multiple projects under construction and a significant authorised pipeline, they are looking to hire a Junior HSE Advisor to join their offices in Rome.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HSE Professional looking to develop their career. In this role you will work closely with the HSE Manager to support the project pipeline across Italy.

The Role:

• Ensure compliance with national HSE regulations across construction sites.
• Monitor HSE performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of HSE practices throughout development, construction, and operational phases.
• Conduct investigations into accidents and non-conformities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation and records.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as CSP/CSE or Assistant CSP/CSE on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of national HSE regulations.
• Ability to carry out HSE inspections independently.
• Good knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Integrated Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
• Fluent in Italian and a good command of English.

Ideal But Not Required:

• HSEQ certifications (e.G. NEBOSH, IOSH) will be considered a plus.
• CSP/CSE qualification will be considered a plus.
