Junior High English Teacher:
Holy Family School in Parma is expanding it's Junior High from 3 classes to 6! More classrooms will provide more opportunities for students, smaller class sizes, and individualized learning! Due to this expansion, we are looking for an energetic, organized, faith filled educator to join our team as a Junior High English teacher beginning with the school year. We are a Catholic, K-8 school that values respect, educational growth, diversity, and service as we spread Christ's love to all.
Position: The Junior High English teacher is responsible for teaching English/LA to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. They will also serve as the homeroom teacher for one of our 7th grade classes.
Responsibilities
- Model Gospel values and lead students in their spiritual growth
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with Ohio state standards
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily lessons
- Differentiated instruction to meet all students needs
- Use data to guide instruction and student progress
- Partner with faculty and parents to support the whole child
- Actively support and promote the school's mission
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Middle childhood/high school education or related field
- Valid Ohio teaching license (or eligible for certification)
