Junior Healthcare Consultant

Overview of the position

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Junior Healthcare Consultant to join our team as a 6-months intern , with the possibility of full employment upon successful completion of the internship period.

The candidate will support Senior Consultants and Managers in the development and operational oversight of healthcare projects in MENA region. The role offers exposure to international healthcare projects, combining project management, operational support, analysis, and

coordination activities.

The ideal candidate is an Arabic speaker with a good understanding of healthcare systems and organizational structures, and is comfortable working in multicultural and complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Senior Consultants and Managers in the planning, coordination and execution of healthcare projects in MENA region.
• Assist in project management and operational activities, including monitoring timelines, deliverables, and key project milestones.
• Provide translation and language support (Italian, English, and Arabic where applicable) during meetings, document preparation, and stakeholder interactions.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on healthcare systems, policies, and market trends.
• Support for the development of feasibility studies and business plan and conduct sound assessments of healthcare organizations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and provide tailored solutions to address operational, clinical, and financial objectives.
• Assist in designing and implementing consulting projects such as, but not limited to: healthcare transformation initiatives, workforce development plan, digital health integration, and clinical governance improvements.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather insights and foster strong client relationships.
• Support proposal development, benchmarking exercises, and business case preparation for healthcare projects.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Public Health, Health Sciences or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience : Experience in consulting (preferably in healthcare advisory) or related fields is a plus.

Requirements :

• The role requires on-site presence at project location in MENA region , working closely with local teams and international stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with the ability to prepare structured presentations, reports, data analyses.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English, Italian and Arabic .

Job venue:

• The work principal venue will be in Milan, Italy, while availability to frequent travel (especially in Libya and MENA region) is required to monitor international projects.
