Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize the backend using Java, designing scalable and efficient APIs.
• Collaborate with network engineers to integrate real-time management/monitoring features for fiber optic networks.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and deployment processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience of 1-2 years with both Front-End and Back-End software development.
• Good command of Backend development using Java.
• Knowledge of Git and GitLab/Hub.
• Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.
• Experience with Jira for project planning, tracking, and management.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.

Workplace:

50% on-site in Vimercate (MB), full-remote possible.
