Junior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a person under 30 for a full‑time apprenticeship contract, with a view to a continuous and long‑term collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Junior Frontend Developer at Synextya, you will work on the development of the UI of a website, create applications that interface with APIs (including third‑party APIs), and contain visual and interactive elements.

HOW YOU WILL WORK

We encourage you to use solutions that offer performance and security, while at the same time evaluating new and alternative ways, always taking project requirements into account. Our focus will always be on improving and trying out new technologies. We do not stop at current competences but also work on professional growth. We do not use frameworks for “party taken” but always reason on the best technical solution to adopt in relation to the project requirements.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

We have a fantastic office in Bologna, at Via Fioravanti 27, available for you. If you prefer an office workstation, we will be happy to set it up for you!

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will collaborate with the team of UI/UX and backend developers and have senior resources to refer to.

WHAT SKILLS YOU MUST HAVE

• Write clean and tested code
• Conduct performance analysis and optimisation
• Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers and the rest of the team on the development of digital products
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in technologies, coding trends, best practices and bring them into your daily work by engaging the team in constructive and educational discussions
• You like to measure yourself on projects of different types and belonging to different industries
• You have at least 1 year of experience in web development
• You have the ability to work in a heterogeneous team (technical, creative, strategic) and to manage proactively and responsibly the assigned projects and the feedback received
• You have knowledge of patterns, abstraction and problem solving skills
• You have experience with a modern development workflow based on the most common build tools
• You have experience in the use of Git
• You take initiative and are curious about new technologies, qualities that allow you to face the continuous technological evolution with initiative
