Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior General Engin to support the assembly, testing, commissioning, and modification of automated packaging machines. The role is mainly based on-site in Ostuni, with travel required for installations, demonstrations, and training activities. Structured technical training will be provided internationally.
This position is ideal for a junior engineer with a strong mechanical background and a basic understanding of automation, who is eager to grow into a well-rounded General Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of packaging machinery
- Machine testing, demonstration, and factory acceptance support
- Modification of machines according to regulatory and client requirements
- Installation and commissioning at customer sites
- Troubleshooting mechanical and basic PLC/automation issues
- Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
- Preparing technical documentation and reports
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- 0–3 years of experience (recent graduates are welcome)
- Basic understanding of automation and PLC systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel, including international training
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport

Working Conditions & Benefits
- On-site work (Ostuni): Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (continuous schedule) or 09:00–18:00 (with lunch break) – to be defined at contract stage
- Business travel: Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00, with lunch break
