About the role
Become a key part of the culinary team at The Forge Gastropub Bali, a vibrant and bustling establishment located in Badung, Bali. In this full-time Junior Cook role, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Cook in preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes, contributing to the exceptional dining experience we provide our customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist the Senior Cook in all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, slicing, dicing and mixing ingredients
- Cook and plate a range of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
- Be an enthusiastic and reliable member of the culinary team
What we’re looking for
- At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Junior Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong practical cooking skills and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Good time management and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- A passion for food and a keen interest in the hospitality industry
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
