Purpose of the position: As Junior Construction Subcontract Engineer, you will be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line within the COSEN (Energy Carriers Construction & Subcontracts Services) Department.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the main types of contracts and the general terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Knowledge of project data related to construction activities and workflows for periodic updates of construction estimates based on the development of detailed engineering.
  • Development and consolidation of the process for periodically collecting data from projects and performing analyses aimed at issuing reports on trends in costs and quantities.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques aimed at integrating construction execution strategies (constructability, sequencing).
  • Study and in-depth analysis of construction processes, techniques, and methods (civil engineering, steel structure erection, lifting operations).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and the process for validating the progress of construction contracts and services.
  • Analysis of New Prices and Changes proposals for negotiation with Subcontractors.
  • Analysis of claims: verification of the validity of entitlements and economic quantification of claims (Extension of time, Extra compensation).
  • Development and consolidation of reporting, monitoring, and control of construction subcontracts for Onshore and FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and, more generally, all engineering disciplines.

Background: 1-3 years as a Contract/Subcontract Administrator, university projects or internship, post‑graduation in project management.

Languages: Proficient in English (writing, reading and speaking).

Technical Knowledge: Office Suite, specifically Excel – Power BI.
