Job Title: Junior Business Developer - Cybersecurity & Tech

Location: Rome, Italy (Hybrid)

Department: Business Development – Channel

Reporting Line: Sales Manager


We are seeking a Junior Business Developer to drive the growth of our cybersecurity portfolio within the mid-market segment.


The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commercial mindset combined with relationship-building capabilities. This role is pivotal in accelerating and delivering sustainable, measurable business results mainly across new channel ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the go-to-market strategy for the Italian mid-market, ensuring alignment with vendor and Ignition objectives with a primary focus on Central and Southern Italy.
  • Build, manage, and continuously develop a robust commercial pipeline, driving new customer acquisition.
  • Act as a trusted advisor supporting sales activities through current portfolio presentations supported by Ignition presales Team
  • Collaborate closely with partner sales and technical teams to strengthen joint value propositions and ensure the achievement of shared business goals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including pipeline development, opportunity progression, revenue performance, and forecasts.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to design and execute demand-generation initiatives targeted at the mid-market segment.
  • Maintain effective and consistent communication with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, and marketing) to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution excellence.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About You

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Mid-market and cybersecurity industry.
  • Experience in channel management and the successful execution of joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
  • Good professional proficiency in Italian and English , both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to business stakeholders.
  • Well organized, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding business objectives.
