Junior Automation Engineer

The resource will be responsible for developing the software project for machine management. The main activities will include: automation software development and functional simulation, testing of the machine and/or plant control software.
The position reports to the Automation Manager.
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Degree in Automation/Computer Science or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer and Automation Engineering
- Experience: previous experience in a similar role within companies producing automation systems or automatic plants is considered a plus
- Knowledge of PLC programming languages in Structured Text and/or PC programming in C#
- Basic knowledge of automation systems, motor drives, axis systems with motion control, interfacing with various types of sensors, and control of pneumatic and/or hydraulic actuators
- Experience in programming within SCADA environments is considered a plus
- Ability to design a machine control system in order to optimize its performance
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Strong problem-setting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers, or industry trade fairs
