We are looking for a Junior Associate to join our dynamic and highly qualified legal team in Rome, working within an international and multidisciplinary environment. Read the opening in Italian here .
The candidate will have the opportunity to gain professional experience both in transactional matters (commercial and corporate law) and litigation matters (commercial) involving national and international clients. The position offers a structured professional growth path, with concrete development opportunities within the firm, in a stimulating environment focused on professional growth and excellence. The Junior Associate will be involved in various legal projects and initiatives across several industries, mentored by experienced professionals who will continuously support their learning and training.
Responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth analysis and research on complex legal issues, while monitoring regulatory and case law developments within the firm’s key practice areas, with increasing autonomy in the preparation of legal opinions and briefing notes
- Drafting legal documents, including commercial contracts, judicial acts, company resolutions, legal opinions, and memoranda, with progressive autonomy in managing drafts and coordinating directly with clients
- Managing case files and related requirements, including compliance activities, the development of contract templates, the preparation of client presentations, and the drafting of legal articles and publications
- Actively participating, alongside the firm’s professionals, in client meetings, negotiation sessions, notarial signings, and transaction closings, with the opportunity to take direct responsibility for specific aspects of negotiations
- Managing legal due diligence processes in M& A transactions, coordinating document review activities and the preparation of due diligence reports
- Participating directly in hearings and the management of litigation matters, with increasing responsibility in case management and organisation of procedural documentation
Requirements
- A law Degree
- A strong interest in commercial and corporate law
- Italian native speaker, fluent in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of an additional foreign language will be considered an asset
- Excellent analytical skills, precision, and a strong team-oriented attitude
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficiency with IT tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite, online research tools and legal databases, and familiarity with prompting AI systems
