Position: Junior Acquisition Manager - Italy
Salary: Approximately 55,000 Euros - plus car, bonus + benefits
Location: Milan, flexible hybrid available

The role of the Acquisition Manager is to proactively identify and secure a pipeline of new self-storage facilities across Italy. Working closely with the Acquisition & Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to proactively search for and assess suitable sites that align with our growth objectives.
You will be the first point of contact in the site acquisition process, using local knowledge, market research, and networking to uncover opportunities. Once identified, you will compile initial site information and pass qualified leads to the Acquisition & Development Manager for further financial appraisal and negotiation.
This is a field-based, opportunity-driven role ideal for someone with strong local insight, a keen eye for property potential, and a passion for contributing to a growing business.
About you
- An individual with a broad network within the real estate sector and experience in site acquisition and development from working with a developer, occupier, or commercial property consultancy.
- Demonstrated history in identifying and acquiring sites.
- Experience in negotiation across various contexts, including interactions with national developers, landlords, and business owners.
- Focused on deal-making and opportunity identification within a business environment.
- Possesses communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Collaborates effectively with multiple stakeholders throughout the organisation.
- Applies a professional approach to project planning and management.
- Has geographical knowledge of Italy and availability for travel across the country, including overnight stays.
- Holds a clean driving license.
- Languages: Fluent in Italian & English
About the role
- Site Identification: Proactively identifying potential sites that meet specific criteria through location visits
- Market Research: Analysing market trends and competition to understand site viability and potential.
- Site Appraisals: Evaluating a site's potential for development or investment, including reviewing permit designations and relevant regulations.
- Due Diligence: Conducting thorough checks to ensure the suitability of a site and identify any potential issues.
- Negotiation: Negotiating with property owners to secure the best possible outcome.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with property owners, government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Financial Analysis: Appraise financial models and business cases for acquisitions to demonstrate value and return on investment.
- Contract and Lease Management: Supporting the acquisition process, including legal, technical and contractual aspects
