Job Title: Accounts Assistant Italy
Location: Amtivo Italy (Milan office)
Role Type: Permanent, Full time ,hybrid.
Salary: €25,000 per year + benefits
Amtivo Group performs thousands of annual assessments globally, providing specialist services across a range of areas including ISO Certification, Compliance Inspection, Regulatory enforcement, Market surveillance and Training. Clients range from micro enterprise to multinationals and include Government Departments, State Bodies and private organisations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Maintain and update supplier master data.
- Record supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Prepare supplier payment runs and control over AP Aging
- Match bank payment and invoices.
- General Accounting Support
- Post journal entries (cash, bank, credit cards, petty cash).
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Process employee expenses and reimbursements.
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments under supervision.
- Administration & Reporting
- File and archive accounting and financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Maintain AP aging schedules and payment deadlines.
Other Tasks
- Record travel and business expenses.(Payhawk + Travelperk)
- Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Support in preparing documentation for tax compliance (e.g. VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes) for month end purpose.
Success criteria:
- Accurate and timely Management Information
- Deadlines achieved
- Fully reconciled balance sheet
- Financial controls appropriately followed
- Contribution to Italian and International Team
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an accounting/administrative role is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); knowledge of ERP/accounting software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Netsuite as ERP is a Plus
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and manage deadlines.
- Good written and spoken English.
