Junior Accountant_Account Payable/Reicevable Fluent English and French

We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant - Account Payable/Reicevable Fluent English and French

Our client is an important player operating in the Mobility Service Sector.

The selected candidate will support the Finance Division with a focus on accounting activities for branches and foreign markets.

Responsibilities

• Book all incoming invoices and ensure correct general ledger and departmental imputations
• Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate discrepancies
• Oversee the full purchase invoice lifecycle: reception, approval, booking, and archiving
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and provide detailed analysis of open items
• Record and reconcile bank statements and transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings
• Contribute to improvements in the invoice processing workflow and minimize risk of lost invoices
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accounting accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 1 years of experience in an accounting role focused on Accounts Payable or Receivable
• Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) is considered a plus
• Fluent in Italian, English, and French (both written and spoken)
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

This position is based in Rome.

Contract and salary commensurate with seniority.
