Italy Chief Financial Officer

Dahua Technology is a world-leading video-centric AIoT solution and service provider, with more than 20,000 employees and operations across over 180 countries and regions.

Dahua Technology Italy was established in 2015 and currently has approximately 100 employees. As our Italian business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and hands‑on CFO to lead the local Finance and Accounting function.

Job Summary

The CFO Italy will take full responsibility for the financial management of Dahua Technology Italy, covering accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, statutory financial statements, budgeting, cash flow and internal controls.

This is a hands‑on leadership role within a lean Finance structure. The CFO is expected to personally review key financial activities, identify risks and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for accounting accuracy, financial reporting and monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
• Review key accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Italian accounting, VAT, tax and statutory requirements.
• Lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and manage external audits.
• Coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, auditors and other financial partners.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Analyse revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability and key financial variances.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial risks.
• Review and improve internal financial controls, approval procedures and Finance processes.
• Identify accounting, tax and financial risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Lead and develop the local Finance function and ensure the quality and timeliness of Finance deliverables.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Previous experience as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles, VAT, taxation and statutory reporting.
• Solid experience in financial closing, statutory financial statements and audit management.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial analysis.
• Strong hands‑on accounting and financial review capabilities.
• Ability to independently identify financial risks and drive issues through to resolution.
• Experience in a multinational or international company is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High level of ownership, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Fluent Italian and professional English.
