Italian Language Instructor

Position Summary

Provides structured Italian language instruction to SOFA personnel and retirees, supporting cultural integration and language proficiency through classroom lessons and controlled field trips.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct Beginner and Intermediate Italian language courses
• Develop and submit course syllabus, lesson plans, and assessments
• Conduct experiential field trips to support language immersion
• Administer end-of-course tests and track student progression
• Maintain attendance records and submit monthly reports
• Coordinate all schedules and materials with the COR

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Education, Teaching, or Foreign Languages
• Minimum two (2) years experience teaching Italian to adults
• Language Proficiency: Level 4 Fluent in Italian and English
• Classroom management and instructional design experience
