For our Engineering Material Group, specifically our Lord Noise Vibration & Harshness Division – we are looking for an IT Technical Analyst to support, enhance, and implement IT tools and solutions to ensure the continuity of day-to-day business operations.
Position Summary
The IT Technical Analyst will propose, plan, and deliver IT initiatives and projects aligned with the Division’s business plans and strategy within the assigned areas of responsibility.
The analyst will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, maintain clear technical documentation, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring security and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Implement, analyze, support, test and administer business related technology (mainly in SAP Business One) within a budgeted time frame and cost, that will meet departmental requirements;
- Lead small to medium size initiatives/projects and participates on assignments to accomplish project goals;
- Deploy IT projects & initiatives in alignment with IT Manager;
- Implement and maintain appropriate Information Technology Solutions, corporate‑approved IT systems, policies and practices and ensures that proper standards & corporate policies are applied;
- Establish procedures for proper utilization of IT technology;
- Assist, train & guide users of Engineering IT tools and assist in training and mentoring new employees;
- Recommend modifications of IT systems in order to improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating costs;
- Evaluate and modify existing technology to take into account changes in business requirements or equipment configurations;
- Overnight travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions;
- Develop data flow, formulas, methods supplying relative illustrative charts, tables, diagrams, and procedural statements;
- Provide analytical advice and direction for application and technology that impacts business operations;
- Understand how applications and technologies impact the business.
Qualifications
- Experience SAP Business One (preferred) and/or other ERP systems
- Solid understanding of Business Applications either through extensive experience in a similar environment on a role of a Project Manager or Business Analyst or through equivalent studies;
- Fluent English;
- University degree in Informatics or equivalent studies;
- Experience 2‑4+ years as IT Technical Analyst or similar role;
- Experience working with different business areas;
- A customer‑first approach;
- Ability to act/deliver independently or quickly find role in ad‑hoc created project teams;
- Feels confident on driving change;
- Really strong analytical skills and attention to details;
- Strong problem‑solving skills;
- Data and information analysis;
- Excellent knowledge of the most important IT software applications.
