IT Support Specialist
Location: Rome, Italy.
Type: Dispatch (on‑site).
Hours: 10–20 hours per week.
BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a Dispatch on‑site IT Support Specialist in Italy.
Responsibilities
- Provide first‑ or second‑level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
- Work with third‑party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
- Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
- Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, macOS & Microsoft Office; Cisco Jabber is another authorized desktop application.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
- This position requires the ability to work in a project‑based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid work permit in Italy.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of IT support.
- Fluent English & local language (at least B2) needed.
Salary: Negotiable.
