IT Quality Assurance Engineer

Grafton is looking for a IT Quality Assurance Engineer for or a leader company operating in the industrial intelligence field with an own solution.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of the innovative solution. You’ll work in an agile environment alongside a multidisciplinary team, leveraging your expertise to develop and implement automated testing strategies that guarantee seamless user experiences. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The main responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer are: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement and perform effective test strategies. 
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend. 
• Validate application functionality, leveraging test automation tools to ensure thorough test coverage and robust system performance and reliability. 
• Monitor, identify, and track defects across the product lifecycle. 
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation frameworks and testing processes ensuring quality across products.  
• Maintain test documentation and execute regression testing 
• Support production releases with thorough validation and proactive testing methodologies, identifying risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Frontend / Backend: Javascript NodeJS 
• Data: MongoDB, SQL 
• Testing Tools: TestRail, Jest, Mocha 
• CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins 
• Methodologies: Lean/Agile (Jira), Continuous Delivery 

KEY COMPETENCIES 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• 2+ years of experience in software testing or development, with expertise in automated testing frameworks. 
• Proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS and MongoDB 
• Basic SQL experience for data manipulation. 
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including API and system testing. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab and Jenkins. 
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. 
• Fluent English  

Location: Vicenza 

The position is in office/hybrid (2 days remote per week Tuesday and Thursday). T
