We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the planning, execution, and governance of IT projects across the organization. In this role, you will coordinate diverse teams, manage risks and resources, and ensure the successful implementation of standardized project management frameworks.

This position blends strong project leadership capabilities with a structured, collaborative, and stakeholder focused approach, ensuring transparency, alignment, and excellence across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Work model for FST Italy: The position follows a hybrid work model when based at an FST Italy site. Remote work may be considered for locations not in close proximity to an FST Italy site.

Responsibilities

  • Project Setup & Planning: Setting up project plans, defining timelines, allocating resources, and managing budgets and associated risks.
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Monitoring project progress and preparing structured status reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Release Coordination: Planning and coordinating resources and activities for major releases to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Leading diverse project teams using conventional (waterfall) or agile approaches, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Transition Management: Ensuring smooth transition of project deliverables into operations, including handover, acceptance, and readiness activities.
  • Framework & Standards Implementation: Defining, implementing, and maintaining project management frameworks, methodologies, and standards across initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project & Resource Management: Proven experience in project planning, resource allocation, and managing timelines, budgets, and risks.
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Strong ability to track progress, identify risks, and report effectively to stakeholders and management.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading diverse project teams using waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Transition to Operations: Ability to ensure smooth handover and operational readiness of project deliverables.
  • Project Management Frameworks: Experience implementing standardized project management methodologies and governance models.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Mobility: Availability for occasional international business travel of 20%.
