General Description
The IT Infrastructure Systems Administration Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, networks, firewalls, VPNs, backups, email systems, and workstations. Ensures system reliability, resolves technical issues, and supports secure and efficient operations across all IT services.
Work Experience / Education Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity, including malware protection, firewall configuration and management, network security, data encryption, VPN setup and maintenance
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, with a focus on VMware,HyperV and Citrix
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional
Duties & Responsabilities
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and operating systems.
- Analyzing and resolving issues related to software performance (e.G., application crashes or slowdowns).
- Managing and maintaining the company network, firewalls, and domain.
- Overseeing data backup processes.
- Maintaining company PCs.
- Managing and maintaining corporate email systems.
- Handling firewall and VPN configurations.
