Your Role

FAAC Technologies is currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Network Engineer for its headquarters in Zola Predosa , Bologna. The successful candidate will monitor and maintain functional IT systems with a focus on our HQ plant while supporting external worldwide branches. The candidate should have a good problem-solving attitude and thorough knowledge of systems administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation and configuration of computer networks
• Performance and security issues of IT systems
• Configuration of Microsoft systems
• Cooperation in securing IT systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access
• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
• Work with Firewall and switching devices
• Manage and coordinate Supplier activities
• Manage and coordinate remotely located colleagues based in company branches
• Run regular and extraordinary maintenances (patching and upgrade of existing systems, configuration of new systems)

What you need to be successful

• Degree or diploma in IT disciplines
• At least 5-6 years of experience in multinational companies or consultancy companies
• Mandatory experience with VoIP systems, preferably Cisco Call Manager
• Mandatory knowledge of Network and transport protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.)
• Mandatory capabilities in Routing, Switching and Wireless Cisco Technologies
• Proactivity, results orientation and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Availability to travel abroad

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)

• Possession of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Basic knowledge and practical experience in Microsoft Azure/AWS
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory
• Knowledge of managing WAF / Reverse proxies (ideally Progress Kemp)
• Ability in daily operation and administration of Palo Alto Firewalls
• Any Microsoft Certifications
