It Corporate Application Business Partner
Descrizione dell'offerta
Dompé is an Biopharmaceutical company driven by innovation and research, with headquarters in Milan and operations across Europe and the United States. The company focuses on developing and delivering therapeutic solutions in areas of high unmet medical need, combining scientific excellence, digital innovation, and a strong commitment to improving patients’ lives.
For our office in Milan we are looking for an IT Corporate Application Business Partner.
The role will be part of the Digital Transformation team, with the objective of overseeing the application ecosystem supporting Corporate functions (HR, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Procurement). The position includes a strong focus on vendor governance and a mixed project responsibility: direct project management for IT-driven implementations, and technical-functional support for business-led initiatives, always working in close collaboration with the Infrastructure & Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Application Governance & Vendor Management
- Ensure ownership and proper functioning of Corporate application solutions (including Jaggaer for Procurement, Analitica Mesa for Finance/Compliance, Arvalo for Legal and DD areas), continuously monitoring service SLAs.
- Coordinate external vendors (System Integrators and Software Houses) responsible for Application Management Services (AMS), ensuring maintenance and enhancement activities are delivered in line with company standards.
- Manage the lifecycle of support requests (Incidents and Requests) through the ServiceNow platform, proactively intervening in case of delays or when escalation to vendors is required.
Project Management & IT Business Partnering
- Project Manager (IT Initiatives): Take full ownership of timelines, costs, and delivery for technology implementation or enhancement projects (e.G., implementation of Ingentis for HR, deployment of the Audit module on ServiceNow). In these cases, the role will lead the project, interface with vendors, and coordinate all activities.
- IT Project Lead (Business Initiatives): Support Business Project Managers on initiatives with strong operational impact (e.G., Arpega for logistics/transport), ensuring technical feasibility, system integration, and proper environment setup, without holding overall project governance.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the Infrastructure & Operations team on all cross-functional project implications (e.G., SSO implementation, security requirements, network architecture), ensuring new solutions are compliant with corporate infrastructure standards.
IT Asset & License Management
- Manage the application license portfolio within the assigned scope: monitoring expirations, handling administrative aspects of contract renewals, and ensuring software usage compliance.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software assets (SaaS and on-premise) used by Corporate functions.
- Support annual budget planning by providing accurate visibility on recurring license and maintenance costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Previous experience (4–6 years) in roles such as IT Project Manager, Application Specialist, or IT Business Partner.
Required Skills:
- Project Management: Proven ability to independently manage IT projects (planning, vendor management, UAT). Certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile) are a plus.
- Vendor Management: Solid experience in operational management of software vendors (ticket monitoring, SLA management).
- IT Service Management: Good knowledge of IT service management processes (experience with ServiceNow is preferred).
- Asset Management: Understanding of software licensing models and ability to manage administrative and budget-related aspects.
- Cross-functional Knowledge: Familiarity with basic infrastructure topics (SSO, Cloud, Security) to effectively interact with internal technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Languages: Italian: Native. English: Fluent (written and spoken), mandatory for interactions with the US affiliate and international vendors.
