For leading a multinational Italian group, we are looking for a Senior IT Manager - Finance & Administration .

The role will report to the Global Vice President for Supply Chain, F&A, R&D&Q, and Internal Audit .

Job Purpose

Manage relationships with Key Business Process Owners within Finance & Administration, understanding business needs and aligning with strategic goals. Define and execute the IT strategy for F&A, manage budgets and project portfolios, and oversee delivery and operations of relevant solutions such as ERP modules, EPM, Treasury, Reporting, and Analytics.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop business partnerships and IT strategy, proposing solutions that deliver value and innovation.
  • Define IT system strategies considering business evolution, cost efficiency, and benefits.
  • Manage demand, build roadmaps, and challenge initiatives for value.
  • Act as an innovation agent, fostering a mindset of innovation within IT.
  • Build partnerships with suppliers and develop opportunities.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget, mobilizing teams and working closely with business leads.
  • Occasionally act as project manager for complex initiatives.
  • Design solutions according to IT architecture and security guidelines.
  • Manage budgets and contracts, collaborating with the IT PMO team.
  • Negotiate with IT suppliers for optimal cost, quality, and timing.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects like ERP rollouts.
  • Align Application Maintenance and Infrastructure with ongoing initiatives.

Run

Define maintenance strategies, set SLAs, analyze problems, and plan improvements for F&A systems. Manage BAU activities and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in managing initiatives in AFC IT, preferably in FMCG or consulting.
  • Excellent English; Italian skills preferred.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or MBA.
  • Deep knowledge of F&A processes and innovative IT solutions.
  • Experience with advanced analytics, RPA, process mining, and emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, results-oriented.
  • Willing to travel domestically and abroad.
