Position Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Applications Lead to join our Information Technology team.
This role will act as the technical and functional authority for the Finance & Controlling, HR, and Corporate Systems stream, playing a key role in ensuring the stability, evolution, and compliance of our applications across multiple international entities.
The Applications Lead will be responsible for driving implementation projects, providing Solution Architecture expertise, and managing the entire service lifecycle for critical applications. Strong experience with SAP, HFM, and HR platforms is required for this position.
This is a strategic role within the IT department, with direct responsibility for the architecture and continuity of our enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture & Technical Authority
- Strategy Contribution: Contribute technical insights and recommendations to the IT strategy and application roadmap for Finance & Controlling, HR, and Corporate Functions, ensuring execution aligns with global objectives.
- Solution Architecture & Design: Act as the Solution Architect and technical authority, designing robust, compliant, and scalable IT solutions utilizing technologies such as SAP ECC, SAP HANA, Oracle HFM, Concur, and ADP .
- Drive Excellence in Controlling: Champion the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Controlling processes, ensuring robust cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial transparency.
- Coordination & Mentorship: Act as the technical reference point and coordinate project activities and troubleshooting efforts with team specialists and external partners.
2. Operational Management & Project Execution
- Service & Vendor Management: Manage the end-to-end IT service lifecycle for the application portfolio, monitoring SLAs and governing the performance of key vendors and external service providers at the execution level.
- Project Execution & Quality Assurance: Lead the successful execution of IT projects within the stream (including task management, budgeting support, and phase control), ensuring timely delivery and high standards of Quality Assurance (QA) .
- Critical System Stability: Ensure stability, security, and continuous evolution of the application portfolio, providing expert support and advanced troubleshooting for complex, recurring issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing to align product costing methodologies and support business objectives.
3. Functional & Technical Expertise (Hands-On)
- SAP Finance & Corporate Control: Provide deep hands-on expertise in configuring and supporting SAP FI, CO, and corporate functions . Manage the integration of core ERP systems (SAP ECC/HANA) with corporate control tools like Oracle HFM and various reporting platforms.
- E-Invoicing and Compliance: Lead the implementation and maintenance of solutions for electronic invoicing and regulatory compliance (B2B, B2G, etc.).
- Decision Support: Provide actionable insights into management through advanced reporting and analytics on product costs, profitability, and cost drivers.
- HR Application Support: Provide functional support and ensure data integrity across key HR platforms , including ADP, SAP HR modules, and Concur, ensuring effective integration with finance processes.
- Brazilian Fiscal Processes (Plus): Expertise in SAP fiscal processes related to Brazilian localization is a significant advantage, particularly given the complexity of our international environment.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a senior specialist or functional lead, managing complex application portfolios in a multinational setting, coupled with a strong hands-on operational background .
- Technical Stack: Extensive practical knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP HANA in a Finance context. Deep familiarity with Oracle HFM and other corporate reporting tools. Experience with Concur and ADP is required.
- Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of end-to-end Finance & Controlling, HR, and Corporate processes, particularly in a high-compliance industry.
