A protagonist in major strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner for Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the IRST Products & New Developments organizational unit of the Electronics Business area, we are looking for **System Engineer** roles for **IRST (Infra-red Search and Track) Sensors** for our NERVIANO (MI) office.The person will mainly deal with the following activities:* System Engineering to support the modeling and development of data processing algorithms.* System Engineering to support integration, testing and validation of equipment.* Analysis and modeling of IRST Sensors, definition of system and sub-system requirements* Definition of equipment architecture, use cases and tests on simulated and/or real scenarios.* Supervision of integration, tuning and testing activities, support in drafting production and quality control procedures and equipment.**Educational qualifications:*** Equivalent or higher Industrial Technical Expert Diploma* Degree in STEM/Engineering Disciplines**Seniority*** Junior: 1-3 years of experience* Expert: 3-5 years of experience* Senior: 5-10 years of experience* Master: 10+ years of experience**Technical knowledge and skills*** Experience using Matlab, in particular Simulink and System Composer* experience in Signal Processing, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Target Tracking* Basic knowledge of MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) and Digital Twin***One or more of the following characteristics will also constitute a preferential title:**** Experience gained in an academic setting* Previous experience in programs on avionics sensors and equipment* Experience working on IRST Systems* Experience using DOORS for requirements traceability* Experience in preparing program documentation* Experience in participating in internal project reviews and/or with external Customers**Behavioral skills:*** Proactivity;
