IP/Datacom Solution Manager

Milan, Italy

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales and Marketing team on pre‑sales activities and design of technical customer solutions.
  • Promote Huawei Datacom solutions in the Italy Enterprise market.
  • Provide full product line specifications and stay updated on the complete product and solution offerings.
  • Gain insights into customers, develop solution network design, bidding, and quotation for multiple products.
  • Provide consultancy support to partners on designing networking solutions.
  • Deliver partner skill training and enhance partner opportunities to contribute to increased sales volumes.
  • Collect and analyze competitor information, and participate in developing and executing competition strategy.
  • Execute brand marketing activities following established branding strategies.
  • Attend industry events, technology forums, and industry presentations.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of pre‑sales experience in IP/Datacom area.
  • Familiarity with IP products and solutions such as routers, switches, WLAN, security, etc.
  • Solid planning and design experience in enterprise IP network or datacenter (preferred).
  • Technical certification in IP or other relevant area at professional level or higher (e.g., CCNP/CCIE).
  • Participation and experience in large complex projects.
  • Understanding of internetworking (IP/MPLS), transmission, switching and service creation/provisioning.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
