In 2020, Ambienta became IIGCC member and in 2023 committed to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). www.Ambientasgr.ComYour Role and Responsibilities:As part of the Investor Relations (“IR”) function, the Analyst will support the team across all investor relations activities for all private markets strategies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Own the upkeep of all Investor Relations materials (investor presentations, Q&A documents, backup files, databases, etc.), ensuring they are kept up to date in a consistent, efficient and punctual manner, and take a leading role in drafting and preparing new materials as neededSupport the Investor Relations team in fielding and dealing with internal and external requests, including via close collaboration and coordination across multiple functions (Strategic Finance, Fund Management, Sustainability & Strategy, Private Equity, Private Credit…). Ensure both internal and external requests are prioritized as appropriate and answered on time, in a professional manner and with a high standard of quality. This includes requests from other functions, requests from existing and prospective investors and requests / needs of the Placement Agent working with the team on the specific fundraise(s)Support in project managing and delivering quarterly investor reporting, preparation for key investor meetings as well as any special projectsParticipate in investor meetings and events, coordinate follow-up materials and clarify next steps for the relevant people in the teamTake ownership of the team’s CRM tool, generating briefing notes pre-meeting, maintaining data quality (e.G. cleaning up duplicates), creating distribution lists and running reports to support the teamSupport the preparation of capital-raising and marketing materials (PPMs, DDQs, pitchbooks, case studies and RfPs) and related analysis in support of LP due diligence processesAssist in coordinating investor due diligence, including preparing responses to DDQs and to qualitative and quantitative investor queries, and supporting on-site DD logistics and follow-upsBuild a working understanding of Ambienta’s portfolio and fund performance, supporting analysis of portfolio company financials, key value-creation metrics and track record against relevant public and private benchmarksIdentify and adopt AI tools to streamline IR workflows – for example drafting first-pass responses to investor queries, preparing meeting briefs and summarising documents – while upholding the firm’s standards for accuracy and confidentialityYour Skills2–3 years of relevant experience in an investor relations, product specialist, project management or fundraising role, ideally within a GP, asset manager, placement agent or investment bankBachelor’s or Master’s degree Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OutlookExperience using CRM systems (ideally Dealcloud)Familiarity with generative AI tools and a genuine interest in applying them to everyday workflow efficiencyGood analytical skills, attention to details and problem-solving approachExceptional multi-tasking ability with no compromise between deadlines / qualityExcellent spoken and written English, as well as Italian, with superb communication skills and the ability to draft engaging and impactful messagesKnowledge of investments and an understanding of valuations, fund performance and LBOs, together with a good grasp of the investor sales cycleDiscretion when dealing with confidential information and confidence to interact with extremely senior people both internally and externallyThe ideal candidate is a team player who is able to interact in a pleasant manner with everyone they come across and able to quickly gain trust LocationMilan, Italy
