Investment Director/Head of M&A Italy

Since the launch of FairCap Italy at the end of 2022, we have successfully completed three local complex carve-out transactions, two of which have already been exited successfully. To further accelerate our growth and strengthen our presence in Italy, we are now looking to appoint a (Senior) Investment Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and play a key role in our continued expansion.

Your area of responsibility

·      Deal sourcing and further expansion of our network in Italy

·      Selection of investment opportunities, including market research, preparation of business plans, company valuation, due diligence

·      Market and competition analysis across all sectors and business models

·      Participation in management meetings, preparation of valuations, indicative offers and term sheets

·      Participation in all aspects of M&A processes, from acquisition to successful exit

·      Taking on legal responsibility for our Italian entity FairCap Italy S.r.l.

Your profile

·      Education: Very good academic degree (Bachelor or Master) with a commercial, technical or scientific background from a renowned university/business school.

·      Job experience : Professional experiences (4-8 years) at renowned companies in the areas of private equity, management consulting, or investment banking.

·      Soft skills: You enjoy dealing with people. You have a certain affinity for sales. You are a good listener and have a confident appearance. International experience and business fluency in English round off your profile.
